The characters of Gardenscapes.
These characters appear during the restoration of the gardens, events, and renovations.
Austin is the main character in Gardenscapes and Homescapes. He is a third-generation butler and gardener. Austin is the son of William and Olivia. His companion is a Yorkshire Terrier. His relatives include Chester (Area 16). Austin and his Yorkshire terrier appear in Township, a game also by Playrix.
Olivia is a housewife married to William. Austin is her son. She loves traveling especially with Austin. She helps set up the wedding of Jason and Alex while Austin is renovating the Wedding Archipelago area.
William is a retired butler who loves his wife Olivia, and his son, Austin!
Robbie Wood a carpenter at Wood's Workshop and Austin's childhood friend. Robbie helps out with wooden things in the garden as a carpenter. He is married to Melinda Wood and has a daughter named Chloe. He met with Austin at the Treehouse. He is an expert in making wooden tables, chairs, etc... and he also made the treehouse in the 2nd garden of the Mansion. He also appears in the Gardenscapes spinoff a few times, Homescapes.
Einar Davidsson is the Lucky Spin owner and an enthusiast biker. Einar visits you each day to let you play the Lucky Spin wheel. He's in the Big Race event.
As a little boy, Einar spent all his time in his grandma's auto repair shop watching her fix motorcycles. When he learnt how to take motorcycles apart and put them back together, he made his own one and went to see the world.
After travelling to every country and entering every biker's club on his way Einar settled down in our calm town, opened his own auto repair shop and started collecting motorcycles. They say he wakes up earlier than everybody else to have more time for bringing luck to people with his Lucky Spin.
The most important thing for Einar is helping people to become happier, and he does whatever he can to achieve it. And now he is working on his new project, but keeps the details secret...maybe one day we’ll learn what it’s gonna be.
Martha Goodwill, the owner of the Animal shelter "Bark N' Purr". Austin meets her while he is renovating the Treehouse. She gave the dog to Austin, which you can name anything you want, and two peacocks that stay in the Maze Garden. Her dream is to run a zoo, but for now she has an Animal shelter.
Cleaner
Private Investigator
Winston White works for Revolutionary Cleaning as a cleaner, who wishes to make the city green. He meets Austin at The Gazebo. He is married to his job, and do you know why the streets are so clean isn't surprising that you don't notice the cleaner? that's called professionalism! He later stops cleaning and becomes a private investigator when Austin goes to the Calvadori Garden.
Colin Stone is a stonemason at Rolin' Stone. He meets Austin at the Fountain Area. He's also an eligible bachelor and he builds half of the town. He is an expert in making houses, swimming pools, stairs, etc., and breaking things too! "Leave no stone unturned -- that's my motto!"
Peter Waters is a senior citizen and retired firefighter. He met with Austin in the Fountain Area. He is the Director of the Faithful Tails amateur dog-breeder club and the owner of the best dog in the world called Archibald.
Lucy is a young schoolgirl from Austin's neighborhood and Steven's sister. She met with Austin in the Fountain Area when her cat got stuck in the tree and Austin saved Lucy's cat.
Carlos Vega is a plumber. He met with Austin at Fountain Area. He says every garden should have water for lawns, and flowers. And that isn't the reason to have a lot of fountains they are beautiful and guarantee plenty of work.
Claire Hoverson, the helicopter pilot of Dragonfly. She met with Austin at the Fountain Area where she helped Austin to remove a fallen tree by helicopter! She can deliver anything faster than his younger business rivals!
Rich Arden, a gardener and topiary expert with many years of experience. He is married to Penelope Arden. He met with Austin at Fountain Area. He is an expert in trimming, making topiaries, planter trees, etc..... and wants something new. that's why he collects seashells now.
Jane Nea Tong is a great scientist in the town! She met with Austin in the Fountain area. Austin delivered her useful package to her address that mistakenly came to Austin's place. She is graduated from a local university! She loves science.
Bob Rogers, the owner of the Garden Supplies! In his store, garden materials are available like trimmers, fertilizers, and many garden products! Whenever Austin needs a product, he is always happy to give the product very quickly to his garden. Austin meets him in the Monument's Garden when he needed fertilizer.
John Rockit, the event host of two major events called Fireworks Festival and Electric Show and he gives you special rewards if you are in the first position!! He is the founder of the Big Bang! He traveled around the world, studying entertainment in different countries learning from professionals! He wants to make life more fun! He always wanted to organize the most amazing show on earth!
Meet Annie Smith!
Annie Smith is the owner of Busy Bee Farm and Daily Apple Shop. She is the event host of Bumper Crop.
Steven a young schoolboy from Austin's neighborhood and Lucy's brother. Hugh the Chameleon was Steven's pet. He met with Austin at Fountain Area when Stevens asks for Austin's Super-Butler comic book. Later in the Maze Garden, his plane was a stuck on the roof of the mansion, but Austin placed a ladder and gave the plane to him.
He also sent his pet chameleon, Hugh who shows up in the Eastern Garden.
Meet Jason Armstrong!
Jason Armstrong is an electrician, inventor, and blacksmith. He is an expert in fixing, radios, lights, and other electrical items. He met with Austin at The Gazebo when he needed an underwater lift to be fixed. On the final day of the Cascades Garden, Jason meets Alex White, and the two start dating. He proposed to her at the Rabbit Park and finally married her once Austin renovates the Wedding Archipelago.
Jason's father is Albert Armstrong, who was also a mechanic. Jason visits his father on the final day of the Amusement Park, and along with his dad, helps Austin renovate The Park of Inventions.
Jean-Louis Odien, a sculptor who helps Austin craft many of the statues across the gardens. He meets Austin when he needs help recreating the statue in the Maze Garden. He does many statues and paintings across the gardens the Dinosaur Statues in the Dino Park Garden and the Mermaid Statue in the Theatre Garden. He is the uncle of Jaques.
When Austin reaches the Calvadori Gardens, Jean ends up becoming quite busy and is unable to help Austin. This leads Colin to take over for him while Jean-Louis is away.
Henry Right, a journalist. He meets Austin while he is renovating The Gazebo, and ends up going on a tour of Austin's Garden.
Nora Green, a ranger at the National Park. Nora meets Austin when he needs help transporting beavers while renovating The Gazebo. She plays the role of Juliet during the Theatre Garden play. After the play, she ends up becoming Sean Parker's girlfriend.
Meet Alex White!
Alex White, a loving and free young woman. Austin meets her in the Cascades Garden. She is also Winston's niece.
Alex starts dating Jason on the final day of the Cascades Garden. This leads to him proposing to her in Rabbit Park, and the two marry in the Wedding Archipelago.
Master Akira , an important character in renovating the Eastern Garden. He helps Austin meditate.
Jonathan Mooney, an astronomer who teaches at the university. He loses his hat while Austin is renovating the Monument's Garden, and needs help finding it.
Sean Parker, an Archaeologist who shows up while Austin is renovating the Picnic Garden. He returns several times including a brief stint in the Theatre Garden where he plays the role of Romeo in a play. After the play, he becomes Nora Green's boyfriend.
Melinda Wood, a veterinarian and Robbie's Wife. She helps Austin tame a giant turtle in the Dino Park Garden. Melina and Robbie eventually move nearby the Calvadori Villa and helps Roger the Parrot find a girlfriend. She also has a daughter named Chloe.
Andy Tanner, an artist. He plays a larger role in Homescapes.
Jacques, Jean-Louis' nephew. He meets Austin while renovating Rabbit Park. By the end of the area, he becomes friends with Steven and Lucy.
Chester Parks, Austin's maternal uncle. He had a long history in Theatre until critics started giving him bad reviews. He is a major character in the Theatre Garden and the Seasons Garden.
After renovating the Seasons Garden he becomes the new owner of the Charles Stevens Garden.
Clarissa Dower, the host of The Gardener Show. Austin meets her in the Seasons Garden. Her first contest was to make a garden that showed all four seasons within it. Later, her second contest involved making a garden based on the seven wonders of the world (Austin calls this area The Garden of Wonders). Austin ends up winning both contests.
Clarissa's most recent appearence occurs in the Reality TV Show Battle Garden. She hosts a TV show battle to determine the next host of her show, The Gardener (Which Ryan wins). At the end of the area, Clarissa retires from being host of The Gardener and moves in with Chester.
Matthias Keller, a government official. Austin meets him while renovating the Seasons Garden. He recruits Austin to renovate the Calvadori Gardens and is a reoccurring character for the whole area.
Bill Young, an Oceanographer and sailor. Austin meets him at Clavadori's Villa. He has a pet seagull named Squeaky.
Sandra Arden, a traveler, blogger, and professional diver. Rich Arden's niece. Sandra is infamous in the other Playrix games Township and Homescapes.
She’s such a risk-taker! Sandra lives on the edge—she’s into extreme sports and thinks that nothing is impossible. She is passionate about gardening. Sandra's a keen traveler and blogger.
She meets Austin while he is renovating The Atlantis. She also becomes good friends with Elsa. While Austin is renovating the Open Air Museum, Sandra steals Austin's plane! She eventually brings it back and everyone is friends again.
Her next major appearence is in the Reality TV Show Battle Garden. Clarissa decides to retire, and hosts a battle between Sandra and Ryan Grubbs in order to determine the next host of The Gardener. Sandra puts up a valiant effort, but in the end narrowly loses to Ryan.
Elsa Lokken, an intern from the Institute of Modern Butlers. She meets Austin while he is renovating the Botanical Garden. Austin gets mad at her several times for ruining plants in his gardens, however, she proves to be a strong asset in the following days. She returns to help Austin renovate The Garden of Wonders, along with several other sporadic appearances.
Susan Boyd, A sea captain, and Bill's long-lost friend. Austin spends time setting up a date with her and Bill while renovating The Lighthouse.
Harry Grubbs, entrepreneur and CEO of Grubbs Industries. Harry moves in next to the Calvadori Gardens while Austin is renovating the Spring Resort. Harry wants to turn the springs into a hydroelectric power plant.
Yashmit Nambeeshan, A Film Director. Yashmit was an old friend of Louis Calvidori and wants to solve the mystery of the Amusement Park. Later, he calls Austin to help him restore the Film Studio Gardens.
Priya Nambeeshan, A Director and Yashmit's granddaughter. Priya meets Austin at the Wonderwood Film Studio and wants to film movies in the surrounding areas.
Albert Armstrong, A retired mechanic and Jason's father. Albert is recently retired and is trying to find his place in life. Albert along with his son Jason help Austin renovate The Park of Inventions.
Chloe Wood, Robbie and Melinda's daughter. Chloe helps Austin explore and renovate The Legendary Path. She Loves reading! Her favorite book is Laura the Explorer.
Ryan Grubbs, Harry Grubbs nephew. He is trying to find his true calling. Ryan battles Sandra Arden in the Reality TV Show Battle Garden to determine the next host of The Gardener. Over the course of the show, Ryan narrowly defeats Sandra and becomes the new host of The Gardener.
Joe Barrett, A Musician, Actor, and Showman. Joe was a student of Austin back in the day, and reconciles with him in The Wild West.
Mina Lakatos, An actress. She wants to star in a movie in the film gardens, along with finding out the mystery of The Horror Hotel. She ends up becoming good friends with Austin and Winston. Her full name is Wilhelmina Lakatos.
Storyline Characters[]
Marie Loomberg is the City Council Chairperson. The City Council appreciates us doing our best to restore one of the town's most important cultural sites. Rewards the player with 2000.
Amanda Bookluv, the Librarian at the City Library who thanks Austin for donating some rare books. Rewards the player with 500.
